Quito, Ecuador
Not all travel days are good days. We spent the last two days doing almost nothing, not enjoying Quito, Ecuador much. Our Airbnb looked great on first sight but we encountered more problems than any sort of comfort. We were probably tired too. We can’t find good food, any decent stores, we were cranky and tired. We were getting on each other’s nerves, emotions ran high. We are probably not giving Quito a fair chance it deserves. Hopefully, the tide will turn this morning as we plan to go see a replica of Notre Dame located at 2,800m above sea level (~9,200 ft). With a new day, there is always an opportunity to hit refresh and turn the (mood) beat around.
