It took extensive planning to prepare for an 18-month trip around the world. We had to not only plan the itinerary, but a lot of hours went into preparing to leave our home, getting our finances in order, planning for our oldest son’s medicine needs, packing right gear and electronics, getting all the necessary vaccinations, etc.
There was a lot more that had to be done to make this happen, but here are some random thoughts on this prep process:
