Over the past month, Petra has been feeding us well.
Pedja and her got into bread baking spree. Pedja had a bit of a scientific approach to bread beaking, trying different recipes, strictly measuring ingredients, trying out different kneading techniques and his bread was great. But in the meantime, Petra one morning whipped up an “off the cuff recipe” and she won the bake-off by making hands-down the best homemade bread that she then continued to make daily for the past couple of weeks. She was even bored enough to clean the fridge one evening. She can now make filo dough from scratch (for a meat filling aka burek) and has made us fresh pasta fettuccini twice.
Then, she made me go running (for way longer than I can handle) in an attempt to work off some of this goodness.
