It took extensive planning to prepare for an 18-month trip around the world. We had to plan not only the itinerary but also dedicate a lot of time to preparing to leave our home, organizing our finances, managing our oldest son’s medication, packing essential gear and electronics, and obtaining all necessary vaccinations.
There was a lot more that had to be done to make this happen, but here are some random thoughts on this prep process:
